TD-100 Tips

Terms and Definitions

Process Guides that cover specific component applications for assembly, rework and repair. These are searchable by installation/removal, component type, and handpiece or system used.

The TD-100 soldering iron can be used with a wide range of soldering, surface mount and specialty tips.

If you are trying to identify your tip, look on the shaft and you will see a series of numbers and/or letters.  The first four digits (Click for image) on the tip are the last four digits of the part number.

  • Standard TD-100 soldering tips and TD-100 SMT & Specialty tips have a part number in this format:  1124-XXXX-P1.  The first four digits on the physical tip replace the XXXX.
  • TD-100 DIAMOND soldering tips have the flared front end (Click for image).  Diamond tips have a part number in this format:  1126-XXXX-P1.  The first four digits on the physical tip replace the XXXX.

Tips made after September 2014 will have the entire part number on the shaft.
